ARTS DAY

ARTS DAY

March 14th  was  our annual celebration of Fallas and also the 4th celebration of the Arts in High School. This year Arts Day saw students working together, in mixed grade level groups, in 19 different workshops. The workshops were diverse from creative writing to African drumming from song writing to origami.  The day began with an intense 2 and a half hour workshop followed by demonstrations from the performance based workshops. Faculty members shared their creative talents with students alongside 5 specialist teachers from outside the school. One of the results of the day was the creation of a series of paintings which will be place permanently on display in the cafeteria.   We thank Ms. Jackie for leading the planning of Arts Day and all teachers who led workshops and all students who participated so well
