BOARD OF GOVERNORS

The school takes the legal form of a limited liability corporation, all its capital being made up by shares held mostly by the parents of students registered at the school.
The members of the administrative board are parents of students registered at the school, who supervise and make decisions on the management of the school, which is carried out by a professional team of executives for both academic and financial matters. The administrative board is the highest executive body of the organization, and is divided into work areas, each of which is represented by a committee. The professional profiles of the committee members are related to the area to which each one has been assigned (education, finance, services, marketing, etc.).
Through the General Meetings of Shareholders, the families of our students are given the opportunity, as shareholders, to approve the management being carried out (or that will be carried out) by the administration body.
Shareholders whose child completes his/her education at the school, may sell their shares to new families registering at the school. In this way, the ownership and educational project always belongs, generation after generation, to parents with a clear interest in the school and the education of their children. This makes the families of the American School accomplices of the development process of the institution itself, which has been evident over the years. The school of today is the result of the constant effort of successive generations, designed by the parents as shareholders of the school.
